KEY FEATURE

The small button on the derailleur is the cage lock (like on Shimano Shadow+ models).
This gives you:
_ better chain retention, which is essential to stop your chain jumping (as there’s no front derailleur to hold it in place).
_ silent descents on rough terrain.

This lock can be deactivated for smoother shifting when riding on smoother terrain and for removing the wheel more easily.

Assembly instructions

When replacing your derailleur, check the condition of the cables. If the cable is rusted or frayed, replace it.
Check that the derailleur hanger is properly aligned in order to adjust it. Replace or reposition it if needed.

Care tips

Clean your derailleur with warm, soapy water.
Avoid degreasing products, which damage plastics.
